Hi all my starview box 3 is great the thing is ive noticed when the screen goes black a black bar rides from the bottom of the screen to the top! sometimes this happens whilst a movie is on i wonder if anyone can help? im in the uk and on VM
Hi I presume you are using a scart lead try changing it or try your SV3 on another TV. Is it on all channels,? Vertical lines usually point to a TV fault. jbvid
hi there , no it happens on other tvs, the way ive had to connect is im using a electrical connecting block from the wire in the wall to a coax cable then to the sv3 , but when i tried to see if the line was live a few weeks ago also on the portable connected direct to the wire in the wall there was a line on the screen.
Hi No wonder you have problems/interferance, You need to get a proper cable company box fitted on the wall, i'm sure they have some electrical components inside them. Why don't you try someone elses box on your dodgy line, Then problem found/solved. jbvid
