Black line round screen!

    Please could anyone help me!

    i've just started to record tv on my pc which records in dvr-ms files. i've then been using Nero vision express to encode the file and transferring it to dvd. the only problem is when veiwing the dvd on a dvd player there is a big black line all around the screen. i've recorded the file in 16:9 and recorded to dvd in 16:9. but this still happens!

    Please help!!!

    Check the resolution of the video before and after encoding to see if they remain the same.

    cheers for that i'll check it out later.

    i know when it's been encoded it's in 16:9 and when i copy to dvd i make sure it's 16:9 mode too.
