I see it posted everything that this game is wave 6. However when I run it through abgx with the wave 6 mod it says it's a possible new wave. Is this game wave 7?
I don't think there's a definitive answer on this yet, but some people are speculating it might be, along with hasbro family game night which is wave 7. edit **according to a ZARTH upload I saw, it is a wave 6 game. I haven't personally tested it though.**
Come on GI2 do you really have to discuss your piracy so boldly on the threads here????? Your really need to read the rules and edit your post before you get banned from here.
I know. sometimes, i can't understand how the rules work. But ok, I trust ya. I'll stop sayin Torrents and stuff like tat.
Well it's not Wave 6. I have the Wave 6 patch and still get the error about non matching video parition. Zarth is good, but I think he's wrong.
well i have the wave 5/6 mod myself and ran it through abgx and im getting that its wave 6 so i am not sure what ur getting lol
Well didn't "we" (well most of us) did the same for fable. We all assumed that it was Wave 6/SSV2 because that is exactly what I saw in abgx. I patched Fable 3 with SSV2...only to find out that is not a ssv2/wave 6 game...maybe it's the same thing for Black Ops.
Yea i wouldn't patch it if it is supposedly from a retail rip with 0800. if that were true then no patching would be needed and could actually be a bad thing.
can someone scan this in abgx and try to look at the disc authoring date? that would give a good indication of how long ago the disc was finalized and pressed. if it was a while ago then maybe they didnt include ap2.5 at that time.
I downloaded a copy of Black Ops and been playing it on my flagged console since I messed up and popped in Fable 3 on the new dashboard. The time stamp on the downloaded .iso says: Timestamp of Authoring 2010/09/30 00:00:00 Timestamp of Mastering 2010/10/12 03:24:58 SS Version 1.
Great job! Much appreciated. Now we know that this needs to be patched with a original disc. FYI: Everyone should be buying your own games to support the company and backing up your original copy anyway...just saying
yeah its going to be AP2.5 and ssv3 because there not going to use older protection for a new release are they?
You will be surprised... happend before when wave 4/5/6 was first releasing. It's not an over-night thing to do (coding the right security codes to a posibily already finished product). FYI: ap2.5 is the actually security. SSV1/2/3 is what the scene uses to bypase APX.X. For example: ap2.0 meant we needed ssv2 patch. ap2.5 we will need ssv3.
if the disc was finalized back in September then they may not have the newest security. you gotta remember that new games are finished months before they even get close to hitting the stores or even shipping. so whats new for the 360 system itself as far as security and system updates may not apply to a game that was "finished" months prior
I have Black Ops already with the new dash installed and it plays fine. I dont play it on live or anything like that though. So if a game has the ap2.5 on it, then the game will not play with the new dash? Good thing I already beat fable 3 before I updated.
