black screen death virus

    hi guys i believe my computor has picked up the blackscreen death virus.it wont let me load windows at all.ive tried reboot disc but but every time i get to the finalising stage my sreen goes black.can anyone give me any advice on how to cure this problem. id be very grateful for any help

    could be a graphics problem as it allows you to see basic vga but not svga try restarting in vga mode
    or try a different monitor
    sounds interesting tho
