Black Screen No bios boot

    I have a V4 PS2. I have installed a DMS4 SE Pro, and a Duo 3 into this console. Neither chip works. I have many mods under my belt. What area of the board should I troubleshoot?

    All wires are lying flat on MB, All soldering is good. Wires from chip to points less than 4 inches, Etc.

    Has anyone else had this problem with an older console? If so, Where do I look?

    You installed the chip's yourself? Double check if the modchip is compatible with your console. If so, let an expert do it.

    Yes I installed myself. That's what I do. I'm an installer. But I have never had this issue before. Anyone else have any ideas?
