Hey all! First let me say my setup is streaming the gcos 1.5 dol to the gamecube via psul through the pso/bba. That part works fine and I get to the Gcos menu. In the beginning I popped in my backup and the Gcos said that it couldn't read the disc. I thought this meant media, burner, or laser. I tried the same thing on a friends gamecube and the disc loads perfectly. So that narrows it down to the laser? The next thing I try is adjusting the POT with my voltmeter. I try all kinds of values from 50-600. Anything between 150-600 and the PSO retail disc loads. Any values between 180-400 Gcos doesn't give the cannot read disc error, but the disc spins up and then switches to a black screen. The disc continues to spin as it sits at the black screen forever. I have tried this with several backups that work successfully on the other gamecube. Does anyone have any ides to try?
One other thing. Once I hit "A" to boot the game, this is when I get the black screen of death. I never see the title and get to select the region.
