ps2 77001 (GH-51-12) black screen when reset is hot. doesnt matter if game is in tray or not. all fuses on motherboard are good.there are the only fuses i found and they have good reading, PS1 PS3 PS7 PS11 PS14 PS15 PS16 PS17 TH4000 TH8001
does this by chance mean that you only get the black screen if you reset from the console on position and it works fine from standby? kc
@rubberman Was your V15 version the version where you have to solder half the BIOS wires to small banks of resistors? I have had a few V15 repairs already where that was the issue. If your not careful you can damage those resistors and the BIOS points will loose contact with the console rendering nothing but a black screen.
red light was on in standby mode and green when powered on. i know that i have to solder wires A.B.G.H.I as in pic 2 below. is that what you are talking about(bios)?
