Black upper screen

    Few year old DS Lite. The upper screen is not working. Any suggestions on repair? This will be a bday present for my daughter if i can fix it. Thank You

    Replace it is the only option, they are less than $10 delivered, just read guides on how to before you start.

    i was just about to post and say disregard as i used the search engine and found that answer. thank you for responding. i got the impression it was pretty difficult to replace? any suggestions for a good source at the $10 price point?

    I use dealextreme.com they have free delivery (worldwide) and they are about $9.50, can be a three week wait though. Also try focalprice

    You will need to solder the speakers on to the screen and as you have to undo both parts of the DS you will need a tri wing screwdriver.
