more than a few people, i even returned it 4 times now and same problem.
interactual player 2.6 has error:pL4001 and wont play the dvd
"umm interactual player 2.6" how many dvd's use that?
not one of my 3 comps plays the dvd.

also my mitsubishi dvd player wont even load it but my panasonic dvd player loads and starts playing it.
considering my panasonic dvd player only cost me $40 its disturbing.

if this DVD is failing to play on some standalone DVD players and it becomes a widespread problem for people then that will cause a nice big stink out there in the news, for a while anyway

    aabbccdd,

Thanks, you give me an idea. So just to confirm, AnyDVD + CloneDVD in movie mode will rip and play fine?

I can rip all the other files except the first and last file of the main title. A mixture of tools and some fixing of the really messed up IFOs will do the job. I'm just doing this for fun as a challenge. IMO, this movie is not worth backing up at all.

yeah clonedvd 2 + anydvd will do the main title with no problems. its like 1:01:57 long

and you're right its not worth backing up

I finally ripped and copyed it but, alas no video. To paraphrase from "CD FREAKS" If any other producer repeats this format with other videos; then the MPAA and cronies will realy be crying the blues. They'll be out of business as no one will be buying videos or going to the movie theaters. I sure this is a wake up call for the movie industries. Also the revenue complaint is an outright lie by them. They're gready for more money.

Blade - House Of Chthon is a 11 GB movie.I manage to rip it to my hard drive with anydvd without any problems. After ripping it,movie is 3.07GB.I played it from my computer and of course it loops.I then burned it to a DVD-RW,then i ran the dvdrw through ripit4me.I did this because you cant just take a movie from your computer and use ripit4me.Anyway,ripit4me did take some useless crap off the movie, however it still loops. The whole movie is there,i can see this by using dvd shrink.I also notice that alot of the VTS's are doubled or even tripled on the disc. However i see this broken in less than a week.I write this for other peeps that, want to try this method, just to say you time.

I disagree with your assessment of the length. I ripped and burned it to a DVD-R, but the result was extremely poor video. The audio was great. The DVD-r was a 1.0 disc. couldn't get anything else to encode and burn all the way through.
