crmac - I used to use memo-sux all the time - A LONG TIME AGO - but then started having problem after problem - found out they were some of the worst disk brand to use. (I hope thi s does not come back to haunt me - but) I have not had a problem with any of my backups playing and then stop playing once they were done successfully. HOWEVER - With ANY disk type - the only time I had problems with playback was after putting adhesive labels on the disk - so DO STAY AWAY FROM THAT ALSO - and it is important to keep the disks out of the sun. If you follow those - once you have a good back up - you really should not have any porblems thereafter.

Alot of people in this forum love the TY's Taiyo yuden - personally I have not had a chance to try them yet but I will.

Fuji does a pretty good job - but I definitely will not buy memorex - one more thing to keep in mind - I still find that some stand alone dvd players (especially older ones) may still have issues with the +R
