great price and still great discs. I paid $27/100 X2 for them and they code out as TY-TO3s this is my second stash of these JVCs. All have burned great. Not checked, but have been on-the-fly copied at 12-16Xs.

Are these discs gold on the bottom too or the usual DVD color we normally see?

One more question before I decide to order these. Gold shiny or Gold matte top surface? I prefer a matte one as shiny shows fingerprints.

Never mind. I just checked the link again & the discs on the front of the package look like Gold shiny surface......

Matte gold tops and the usual TY 16x blueish purple color on the bottom . . . as opposed to being 'silver lacquer tops"

. . . and by the way, you're all welcome

bratcher... the discs I have are the "matte" top as well... I'm not sure what that "coon azz" is talking about being LSU discs!! LOL

I still have some Maxell DVD-R 4X discs that are much closer to the "YELLER & PURPLE" he's talking about.. hehehee. :p

Yes I remember those 4x Maxell TY yellowtops & they were really great discs. Have many of them myself that were burned years ago. Hunted down all I could in the stores until the supply ran out.

Meritline has the JVC 16x gold DVD+R's a little cheaper that what Supermediastore is selling them for. $20.99 per 100 pack at Meritline VS $22.99 at Supermediastore for the exact same discs. The 200 pack is $40.99 at Meritline & it's $45 at Supermediastore. The only way to get free shipping is get the 400 pack from Supermediastore for $87. Anything less & you have to pay for the shipping. Your choice of course on which store to buy from....

Verbatim Azo white inkjet non hub printable $12.99 per 50 pack.

Saw this at Microcenter (the Houston store) yesterday for the non hub printable 50 packs so I bought 4 of them for a total of 200 discs. If you like these discs & have a Microcenter near you then check this out. True not a huge savings but enough so I'd be more willing to buy the discs when they are normally $15.99 per 50 pack!!

Save $3 per pack? You bet I would. These are the AZO discs not the life series.

Let's wake this thread back up with an awesome deal . . . .

Right now Microcenter has 100 packs of Verbatim DVDs for $14.99

These are NOT the 'Life Series' - - The DVD+R discs are made in Taiwan and code out as RITEK-F16-01 (!) Surprised me for sure

    Code:

    Enjoy . . . . .

I don't know if they do or not . . I live about 8 miles away from the Madison Heights location . .

If you live in the USofA . . they do have locations all over the country

You can always go to their website and see if they ship . . . they do have a 'web store' whatever that means

    Code:
