well I've never had any problems with either meritline or Supermediastore But you can never be too careful can you ? I would cross Check with them by phone if possible to be sure ! also you can look at the web address and compare it with theirs that you Know to be good ( valid ) and note any descrepancies like a suffix for a foriegn country ect,,, on the end versus not on the correct sight !

was in the Big city Today ! running errands . So I stopped off at Officedepot Well two of them (Officedepot's) to be Exact ! I figured I'd hit the Officedepot Media jackpot and increase My supply ! I'm Pretty Flush with OD media already , I guess you could say I've O'd On OD media LOL!!! But a sale is a Sale and More is better !!! I found Two 100Ct. Spindles of DVD-R 16X officedepot media @ $ 14.99 ea. and they took 25% of that. so Sweet as CARTMAN would say!!! I also bought a 12 sheet paper shredder for $19.99 and a 10 pk. of DVD+R DL officedepot media for$7.49 . I then hit the next nearest Officedepot and found another 100ct. spindle of Officedepot 16x DVD-R . I took that to the checkout and they wanted to take 25% off the regular price ? Oh No I explained about the other officedepot's price and I ended up getting that one for about $9.40 I may go too two more Officedepots tommorow to see what They have ? It was too late too today Rush hour traffic ect... Wish me luck gang Ciao!!!

 

I better go personally myself then. Maybe the girl on the phone got the prices wrong. Can't hurt to try. At $9.40 they might be lucky to have 1 arm left.

BIG you came off really BIG w/those OFFICE DEPOT's. They had them here in NYC for $29.99 @ 25% off. Not worth it for me w/all the sales online. Guy told me maybe they'll have stock left and that Wed they'll be 50% off, still not that great including tax. Also said it was up to store to set clearance prices. Don't know about that. Nearest other store is a pretty long train ride and prolly have the same price. Great snatch!

Good score. I went to my OD and they only had the OD _R X16 50 packs had one regular and six printables all same price of $8.50 close out price. Really wanted the +Rs. Anyway I was expecting the 25% discount at check out. The matronly drill sergeant would have none of that. Not everything is 25% off it has to have a red tag. BS! Just says take another 25% off the price. Deceptive. I picked up the +RDLs at 10 for $7.50. also no more discount. So I gave her back 2 prinatbles and the DLs and bought 2 50ct -Rs and 100ct colored dvd paper holder also no sale price for $4.99-not a bad price. So all in all I was not too pleased but will give all those -Rs as gifts. They coded out as RitekF1s. X16 -Rs. I'll have to do a s scan since I never use -Rs.

 

garmoon- If your tooling around The Big B.R. don't bother with the two Officedepots on Florida those two are selling the OD brand media DVD's for $29.99 - 25% on the 100Cts. and they were'nt sure about that much even ? a severe case of the instensily stupid lead by the supremely moronic !!!! Both stores1 did'nt have much anyways ! On a positive note the Samsclub on Airline still has the regular Verbatims 16x DVD+R or DVD-R's for $10.87 a 50ct. spindle I was there today & bought 2 ! The sign says it's a onetime buy /deal? I think they want to standardize on just carrying the printable verbatims only but that's just my opinion so what do i know Good luck & Enjoy Your Turkey-day Buddy !!!!!

So for $2 more you get top of the line Verbs at BB. No brainer there stay away from the TDKs. You can get cheap media or you can get good media cheap!

 

garmoon- Yup if I'd have know BEstBuy was A puttin' the verbatims onsale for $9.99 I would've waited till today and save myself a whole $1.76 before taxes ! LOL! Oh well I'm still happy !!!!!!!!!

 

I'm going to BB and pick up 200 of those at$10 too hard to pass up. The OD on Millerville is the one I was at and they probably have none left. Seems the personnel bought all the +Rs out, I assume.

 

Just came back from BB. Picked up 3 50pks. of the DVD+R verbs and check this out. They have a new look CD-R vinyl top 50pk. for $5.99. They're verbs so how bad can they be. Snatched 1 pack to try them. Maybe you guys seen these b4 but I haven't. See how things are by the end of the sale $$$ wise, and maybe get more of both.
