When capturing using firewire from my sony miniDV there is no video on the display screen, it is totally black but I get audio. However, when I hit record to begin capturing the video magically appears and the captured mpeg video and audio are perfect during playback. Go figure.... I've captured avi with vegas 4.0 and the video preview before and during capture works fine. The preview in vegas is not as big as with windvr and the automatic mpeg encoding is faster then going from avi, so I like using windvr. Anybody got an idea about what's wrong??? It's probably some setting I've missed, but don't know where... thanks
