Main question: is the blaster 360 worth the price(around $70 USD)? If not, is there a better option in which I would never have to open my case again? I really don't want to solder or anything like that. The most I want to use is a screw driver. Any thoughts would be appreciated. Also, I heard of many sites selling team xecutor products getting raided by federal agents. Is there any way you could get in trouble for buying one?
If you don't want to keep opening up your box its a good solution, and basically the only one out there. In the future post in the Xbox 360 forum, this is just the Xbox forum. I have installed several of these, its very easy if you follow the guides on the team xecutor website. Some places did get raided, be careful because you may not get what you pay for if you use a site that got raided. You can't get in trouble for buying one, just be careful where you buy from. People I know went through eBay, more reliable, if you can find someone selling them. I know one seller always has them listed. It allows you to access the hard drives and back it up so it is not illegal.
I bought one for my brother so I know they were on there. My completed auction is still on there, but it looks like the guy got shut down (he was also selling unlocked iPhones). Guess eBay had enough. Here is my completed auction for verification http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=180158804567
How much did you end up getting your's for? I'm trying to fine one for cheap, so far the best I can find is $67 after shipping for the second edition of blaster 360, from dotconsole.com.
$64 with shipping, $67 is a good price. Just research the place online to make sure tjhey don't have a rep for ripping people off, and havenm't been shut down.
