A computer i am repairing has the blaster worm, i installed ad-aware to remove some of its components, but every time it scans the computer restarts, the thing is is that i set ad-aware to start a scan as soon as i login to catch everything before the processes started loading. As soon as i login the pc restarts, i try safe mode...it restarts i try directory services restore mode....it restarts somehow the option to disable automatic restart on system failure dissapeared. I need a way, Not Knoppix, or bartspe, i need a virus scanner that can boot from a cd into dos and run a thorough disk scan to clean everything out. Then it will not restart like it keeps doing. B4, everytime norton picked up this virus, the computer would instantly restart. I need a scanner please help
