inle54, why don't you do what you're paid to do at work, that is, "work"? Instead of trying to waste time breaking your company's IT policy. Anyway, advice on that is against the rules here, I think.

I used the non-downloadable version of google talk at work for a while, but eventually it was added to the WebSense blocked list. You might want to give it a shot.

Who says he's not? Oh my god, he wants yahoo messenger we need to fire him. People work all through out their life, and you are telling him he is wasting his time breaking IT policy? Barely, Its a chat messenger, maybe he wants to chat with co-workers, wife, etc while hes working. I thought forums were for asking questions, and getting them answered.

You could burn the installer to a disk at home and try installing it( but they probably blocked the yahoo chat server also). Or if you have access to 3rd party file sharing sites as in rapidshare you could find the installer.

    Anyway worth a try.

I appreciate you sticking up for me.... I think your right all I was asking was a question, I work very hard and take my job seriously I don't think its a big deal throwing out a few lines to close ones. At my previous job I was at I was able to use my yahoo mail account and could check my mail as well as having the ability to use the chat option.
