Blu-Ray burner recommendations

    Im looking to purchase an External BR Burner. I was looking at an LG that i found for around $275. I currently have an LG DVD burner that i have had good luck with. anyone have any ideas and a cheap place to get one? Also Blu Ray burners will burn standard DVD's also correct? thanks in advance

    Hi,
    I've had the LG BluRay Burner for about a week now. No issues so far. Written AVCHD on dual layer DVDR, DVD ISO on single layer and also BluRay content to BD-RE media - all have been fine. Added support for reading HD DVD and DVD RAM means it covers most bases. Just be sure to install the firmware updater and get the latest one on it.
