I have searched other threads but it seems like there is an overwhelming amount of info on blu ray backup. So I have a few questions.

Can I get by having just these 2 programs? anydvd HD and DVD Fab (with bluray to bluray support)

It looks like media and burner compatibility are issues as well...can anyone recommend an internal burner along with printable bd-r media that works with it? These things are too expensive to experiment.

thanks for any help in advance.

    Just picked up a LG BH08LS20 with a 15 pack of Maxell 25gb BD-R's.

Hoping I can install the drive painlessly (plug & play I hope) and

    1. Rip to hard drive using ANYDVD HD
    2. Backup Movie only using DVDFab

Can it be this easy??? I really hope so...can't afford coasters at these prices!!

Hoping the burner is compatible with Windows7 and that my media is compatible with the drive.

Crossing my fingers. Open to any advice.
