Hi all can anyone help? i've downloaded firmware for blue eurovox and i'm getting a black screen and i can't do anything, remote wont work except for on/off. i think i must have the clone box. but i have updated before with the normal blue box update. (i'm comfused) if its the clone box is their anything i can do to get it back up working?
check here to see if you have a clone then try and reflash with the april clone fix if it is a clone,you will need dnupman loader and the april firmware which can be found here
Hi there I had the same happen today but with a digivox xl,a guy sugested i reflash again but with the correct firmware,or an older date which i did,glad to say it worked.might be worth having a think about it
Hi karl Its definately the clone box because i've opened and had a look but i've done the downloading of the april firmware and nothing, still the same. any other ideas thanks?
i can get standby on and off. when its on i get number 0268 on the front of the box but nothing on the tv screen.
i think your box may need jtaging,unless you can suceed with flashing it,thats the thing about the blue box, a lot of clones out there,i don't no if you seen sc0ucers warning when he posted the blue fix.
whats jtaging? never heard of it. Did see scOucers warning but i thought it was the normal blue box because i updated it with the normal update last time.
Its basically to bring your box back to life,try the firmware you loaded the last time,with clones it takes a while for some firmware to kill them,so if you manage to get that back on to your box you may get a while out of it,it will mean inputting codes manually though.
no bother this has happened a few people,funny the last genuine fix was ok,but i think eventually that would have bricked your box as well.
i also have exactly the same problem, should i just keep downloading the april firmware onto the box until it works or should i use different firmwares to see which one works? and will jtagging definately work? thanks
