    Hey Guys,
I'm new to the Blue Ray and HD DVD ares. I have two HD LCD Tv's.
But I've only using Upconverters with them. One is Oppo wich I like.
The other is a magnavox which is fair.

I was curious should I get a Blue Ray player or a HD DVD player,
or a unit that plays both, or will eventually one win out over the other.

Any advice on any players is greatly appreciated.
    Thank You.

well to tell u the truth i ended up buying both players which blows but in the long run i find it easier to buy movies since sony will only make movies blu ray so ur forced to buy there blu ray movies and HD dvd as well has done the same so until the movies are put into both formats ur knida forced to have both or wait to see who wins

If you have a xbox 360 you can add the hd dvd player for under $200.00 but I would go with a PS3. I just purchased one for the blu ray and it runs 5 times more quiet than the 360, and I think it looks better.
