Hi Recently my computer has been giving me the blue screen of biatch. i downloaded partition table doctor 3.0 to scan for errors in my hardrive. I re-installed my geforce 6600 drivers to their orginal ones. I then scanned my ram for errors, none there. on the blue screen it says something about new hardware has been added and the computer is resting to stop it from harming and it says dumping psychical memory in 29, 28 etc. It also says something about a .dll i can never catch what its called so i will check next time. I cant think of anything else to do besides re-install windows and buy a new hardrive and format the old one. Someone please help, i have given up hours to fix it and i cant. thanks
You will need to give more details as to what are the series of numbers displayed ie 0x000008a try the following site see if you can get better info on the error report. http://aumha.org/win5/kbestop.php Adh Mor (good luck).
Some versions of Adaptec EZ cd creator have been known to cause a BSOD that referenced hardware. Have you installed any software lately? If so, boot to Safe Mode and uninstall it, then try again. ~Rich
