I have a older hard drive 5-8 years old i decideed to hook up in my current machine for a little extra space but when i boot it up wth my windows XP and try formating it it says windows cannot format. now when i try booting it i get the blue screen. anyone know whats going on and how to fix it?
Sounds like the hard drive might be corrupt. What exactly are the errors you are getting, I mean word for word?
