    Hey,
so I am having this problem when I try to copy a large amount of data say 20GB from my family computer to my other computer. I get a bluescreen on my computer saying windows was shut down to prevent damage. There is a problem at 00x000000f4. I do not know what this means. I have not new hardware and the computer has copied files of this size fine before. The bluescreen shows up at a random time during to copy process. Might this be due to a lose conection somewhere? Does anyone know what is going one here. Thanks.

As the CPU is very busy look into heat as a source of the problem first.

Hey, Thanks for the response. I think I found the problem. The hard drive I was trying to copy files from was my second hard drive. When I ran a diagnosis on the drive using SpeedFan, I saw that the drive's Reallocated Sector Count was failing. In other words, the hard drive was dying and I needed to replace it. I removed the hard drive and have not had any problems with copying since.
