Alright, so it is pretty straight forward how to connect your pc or laptop to the internet via bluetooth phone. But my question is, is it possible to connect a phone to the internet via bluetooth, say for instance using a usb bluetooth dongle or something? I have a HTC Touch (Verizon XV6900) which lacks wifi and was wondering if bluetooth could possibly be a way to connect the phone to the internet.
Alright, I think I have this figured out. Although have not yet tried it because I don't own a usb bluetooth dongle. I found this guide on how to do it with a Palm, but the setup seems fairly general. http://www.palminfocenter.com/news/8567/howto-bluetooth-internet-with-windows-xp/ I'm not sure if this is compatible with any other OS either. I'll have to snag a usb bluetooth to test this out.
This is much easier than I expected. When using mobile device center you can sync your phone using the bluetooth. This can allow for the sharing of your computer's internet.
