What I'd like to be able to do is backup blurays and put them on a hard drive and have the PS3 play them jukebox style, so I can just choose the one I want to watch. I've read a lot of posts regarding this but haven't found the best solution for me yet. Heres what i do: 1) rip bluray to hdd(1tb esata ntfs specifically for bluray storage) with anydvd hd 2) use tsmuxer to create .m2ts file and split into 4gb chunks 3) copy 4gb chunks to a portable hdd (250gb usb fat32) to hook up and play through ps3. I simply create folders under VIDEO to get the jukebox feel Problems I've encountered a) No sound on anything with dts-hd or dts b) Since its in 4gb chunks I have to manually go to the next chunk everytime taking me out of my movie experience c) When I play a bluray disc it pops up as 1080p 24Hz on my tv, it never shows 24Hz on playing the files. Other Notes - I have an onkyo 705 capable of decoding dts-hd through bitstream - I cannot hard wire my ps3 to my network - I am not opposed to running linux to get around the 4gb file size - I'd like to keep quality as high as possible, including sound
