bluray on pc playback lag

    as the title says im having some minor lag when watching high res movies on my laptop. the sound will be off and the frame will freeze for a second or so. is there any way to fix this? they are mkv files playing in wmp classic. my specs are
    hp g-60
    windows 7 32bit
    3 GIGS OF RAM
    AMD ANTHLON X2 64
    NVIDIA 8200 with a gig of dedicated ram.

    maybe another player or am i just out of luck?

    Do you have kpac installed? Try vlc. I have no trouble usimg vlc or wmp11 w/ kpac installed.

    Wow I am having this same problem! I do not have kpac installed tho

    AdamF3, go to the HD/bluray backup thread and dl the kpac codic and install it. CCCP its good. I've had issues w/ CCCP so I perfer kpac myself. If you don't already have it DL vlc. Wmp will work but vlc seems to have less tendicies.
