I only wish that someone can help me with this issue...i burned all the family images to a dvd using nero 6 and deleted them from the hard disk...and saved an image .nri format,..now i lost the dvds......now i m trying to burn the disc using the image file but when i start the process it gives an error saying "a non critical error has occured which might cause a defective write.........."when i continue writing the disc and after its burned successfully and i try to view images and videos.............the disc shows everything the files have size and everything......only the windows previewer says "cant determine type" and neros own photoshop says failed to load one or more plugins. so now plz help me out of it as that is the only record i have

image is just info not the pics. look at the size, it will be very small. try to recover the files. they may still be there.

the NRI file is a Nero saved project file that has information about what the project was and where the information was on the computer to burn the project again! But if you deleted the files where the NRI is pointing at then the project can not be burned again! If I were you I would try an UNDELETE program. Your files might still be on your hard drive if the space hasn't been used already! Or FIND THOSE LOST DVDS! I wish you luck.
