hello i am pretty new at this and just started backing up my copies of dvd's about 2 days ago. I am trying to back up Day after Tommorrow and Boogeyman. When i start using DVD Decrypter at the beginnig a message come sup asking me for my region setting. Will this affect how i back up my dvd? Because when i did it with day after tomorrow it came up saying something about the audio being locked or something about something locked. it has only happen on these two dvd's and not any of the others? i use dvd decrypter and then use dvd shrink to finish burning it. Please Help me . Thank you
Decrypter asks the region of the DVD not your burner. This helps Decrypter crack the css protection. The only time Decrypter will ask for the region of your burner is if it isn't yet set (brand new). I've never seen audio locked or anything like that before. I did both of those movies with Decrypter with no trouble
