hi i was fixing a sv2 with old firmware recently after i installed the most recent one it just would not update sometimes it would reach 50% but go back to 0 i checked the version i downloaded and it was right. tried all basic things. let update on sly 2 switched on and off at back. so i then proceeded to go to nagra and manually input codes and this worked. now im wondering will this still make box autoroll?

as you said old, what was it,or have you put the last update on,some of them were a bugger to start to update, sat default key, powering off at back/on and looking for a channel with a stronger signal.

by entering data it will not make box update, try a set default key and exit out,if box updates firmware works.

with all the changes going on in irl now hard to say what is going to work, well if you have to manually insert data to work so be it.
the firmware might work but it needs a data stream to give it info no info=no update.
