i have a modded xbox and a 160g hd and want to boot to ms dash. evox has an option to do this but when i try it, it wont even load the dash. if i turn my chip off it says there is something wrong with my hd. the only thing i can do is put my original hd back in and load it that way and that takes a while so i wanted to know if there is another way to boot ms dash without having to put back the original hd back in. ive tried all that lock and unlock stuff but still nothing.maybe im doing it wrong. can anyone help
how did you originally mod your software, did you use slayers or any other autoinstaller disk? because if you did it should have installed it for you, but if you modded it manully, then you need to make sure: 1. it is still installed or install it 2. if you are using evox as your default dashboard, then the .ini file needs to point to where the ms dashboards .xbe file is located (in the c partition) hope this can help!
