elokito is correct. Can you give more info as to why you need to boot from a cd/dvd? Maybe we can help you fix that problem.
When I start up, it goes through the memory information and the IDE Channels and all that stuff. It gets to the point of "VErifying DMI Pool Data..." and directly under that it tells me "boot from CD/DVD." So I put in my Windows Xp Pro CD and I need to restart the computer. Once it restarts it goes through everything again, the memory info, IDE Channels, PCI Identification, and then It goes to the Boot screen " windows is loading" and it brings me right to my log on screen. I can then take out the CD and run it without any problems. I tried to fix this already, I was thinking it was something with the Jumpers or cables, but I put my HD on the first IDE Channel and set it to master. Then I took my two DVD drives and put them on the second IDE Channel and pushed those both to Slave. Even in BIOS, I have my HD set to the first boot device and the CD/DVD is second.
