    Hello

I have a trial version of Nero 7 and am trying to create a bootable CD. When I go to the "Source of boot image data" area and select "image file" the browse section, etc remains greyed out and not available.

Any thoughts? Is this perhaps a limitation of the trial version? I have tried it on two different computers with different burners and the same results.

I haven't been able to find anything on this via searching.

    Thanks for any assistance. Regards.

    Hi.

I just going by memory, but I seem to recall that the boot image had to come from a floppy or a Nero Boot Image stored on the HDD. Do you have either of those to select from?

That does appear to be the case. I found a workaround by using the program nlite from www.nliteos.com to create an iso image of the Windows CD I wanted and then used Nero to burn the image.

    Thanks for you help.

    Regards

If you are trying to burn an image file, like an .iso for Windows Vista, you need to go under Recorder-burn image to make a bootable DVD using it.
