Under boot sequence in system startup, there is an option for booting my computer using an usb harddrive. My external harddrive is installed with windowXP Pro but my computer is not responding when I tried to get it start up using the boot sequence I mentioned above. Any idea? Please let me know. Thank you.

you are in the wrong forum as this is the digital video forum. i'll pm a mod to move it to either all other topics or pc hardware.

ed, can you be a little more specific? you go through your bios, select boot from eternal device, and continue to let your system start up, and nothing happen? what's the exact sequence. normally, you'd just have to re-register windows, i believe. is your bios up to date?
