Hay, i got a old system that has been data wiped so no OS. I have d/l win 95 and 98 both in ISO, i was told i need a Boot Disc. How do i get 95 or 98 from the ISO they are now onto the other system? Help please?
ISO is an image format. use a burning app such as nero to open and burn the ISO. then pop in the CDR to your machine with no os. Go into the boot menu and make sure it boots from the CD first. then restart, and when prompted hit anykey, and the CD will boot and begin to install windows.
hay ddp what do i do with that, do i need to still put the CD with win 95 in? and then do i boot from that? also do i put it onto floppy or onto the CD aswell?
can put on floppy disk to boot up on & select cdrom support. do you know anybody that uses win98 or me & if so than see if they can make you a floppy boot disk.
the boot disc i got is to put on floppy so i should be able to make it myself hopefully. Ill have to see what happens thanks for your help though
