    Are there any known problems that can occur when applying a bootskin to your startup.

    ive seen xp's modded but not vista. My rule of thumb: if your not sure, dont mess with it.

    Don't play with the Vista Log-on and Boot-up screens. Vista is kind of unstable already. Wait for SP1 to come out, then try.
