BOSE 201 OR 301

    how good are these speakers, thinking of getting a pair (most likely 301) as secondary speaker ina rom that's about 450 sqft.

    No good highs, no good lows..........it must be Bose!
    If these Bose speakers are from the 60s or early 70s, they might be ok. Otherwise, I'd stay away from them. Bose is not highly regarded in the electronics world, especially in home theater environments. Bose has excellent marketing, or they wouldn't be where they are.

    Check out this review. Even though it's specifically reviewing the Acoustimass system, it pertains to all Bose products.

    my boyfriend's parents had a bose lifestyle 50 system. the speakers were terrible. this may say something about their other products as well.

    My advice is to stay away from bose products. better and cheaper can be had else where
