Both DVD-ROM and CD-RW not working at the same time

    I have a problem with both my DVD-ROM and CD-RW drives. The computer is not reading them and it explained that their is something missing or it's corrupt. Can someone help me with this problem. One is a Samsung DVD-ROM SD-616T and the other is a HL-DT-ST CD-RW GCE-8400B.

    Go to hardware manager by right clicking my computer then properties and the hardware tab, and uninstall both your drives. Then reboot your pc and windows will auto install your drives again.

    See if that helps.

    is there an error code like 19 or 39?
