Bought SD Card reader - Need help with "Protected" MPEG4 iTunes Files

    I just purchased an SD Card reader to transfer things from my computer to my Motorola Razr V3m (pictures and ringers/music for ringers). I am trying to drag the files from my iTunes library onto the music file of the SD card, and it has a locked symbol on it and it says protected. It is listed as a MPEG4 file. How can I change this so I can use this content on my phone? Thanks in advance.
