    Hi guys,

Has anyone ever had the letters dL displayed on their box? Mine constantly has it and it won't allow me to do anything. My tv screen remains blank too. I know it prob means its faulty and I need to return it, just out of interest though im wondering did this happen to anyone and did they manage to fix it?

    thanks a mill!

I believe in second opinions also ;) But for all those that are about to answer your question here is your original thread http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/709266 saves people giving the same answers.

I have spoke to someone who has told me that you need to do a factory reset. Turn off the box and then back on and flash with V8.00. This is the only version that will cure this problem for you.

Apologies for not having this info to hand last night as I needed it verified.

It would help if you would tell us what kind of box you have.

    Hi again Sc0user,
I bought 2 x The Box 3 Super for friends. The first one flashed fine but the other one wouldn't flash. After reading some of the threads I checked for the LD80 on the Display & it was there. I connected one to the TV and after selecting English I did a factory reset. Tried to flash it after switching the power off & on but still staying at 0% and getting LD80 on the Display. Tried firmware Versions, 8.0e, 709eBata and 6.00e.
Any advice or should I just return it to the supplier?
    Cheers

you should send the 2nd box back to whoever you purchased it off.
