hi guys i updated my firmware (eurovox max blue), working fine lastnight. switch it on today and has frozen. wont change channel or nothing. it's saying 0001 on the box. i tried to reflash it but still no joy. any help would be greatful
any support would be great....i've tried flashing the old firmware, i've tried to flash it again with the up to date firmware but all i'm getting is a blank screen and the box is saying 0001. can do anything with the remote apart from putting it on standby and back on again. after i flash the box dosen't come up with anything but this blank screen. i've even put me VM box on and thats getting the channels so can't be a problem on VM side
looks like u got the same prob as a lot of people including me, looks like you have a clone blue box not just a blue box as i thought. You can try re-flashing with the clone sotware but it did no good for me. People have greatfully suggested that the box needs jtagging, as far as im aware you can only get this software and the cable from ebay http://shop.ebay.co.uk/?_from=R40&_trksid=m38.l1313&_nkw=jtag&_sacat=See-All-Categories as far as im aware though, there isnt any new software been released for the clone, so even if you jtag your box there is no garantee that the old clone software will work!! hope that makes sense, look up clone boxes and what to look for on your box, id say its 100% clone though.
right i havent put the new firmware on yet but i did a powerscan today everything went as normal untill channels came back on box was reading 0001 and when i tried to go to the next channel it would say on screen channel not available then my tv would turn off so i unplugged box plugged back in then it let me go into menu add fav after adding the fav said saving data and everything now working ok even setanta chan maybe worth a try
