I recently bough a box pvr from wizard satellite.co.uk but Im having problem turning the key emu on. I have tried bringing up the menu from parental control by pressing info + 2007, no luck. Current firmware installed according to System information: ver3,104, 18 Mar 2008, which seems a little strange because the latest version I have seen on the net is 15/10/2007 I have tried reflashing the firmware with 15/10/2007 Release firmware without success using a rs232 and usb cable. If I try the rs232 method, I just get a failed to update message. I have configured the device manager with the relevant com port as I am using an adapter to connect it to my machine. I have also tried another r323 that I know that definately works just to make sure. The usb method does not work either as when I switch to PC from the HDD Mode Change menu a removal disk drive does not appear on my machine to place the firmware for the update. Please help as Im running out of ideas
Hi Have a GOOD read of the documentation in the Starview PVR folder in the link below, the latest software is also in there 4.506 Oct, You need that installed. Use a PC with a Com port as load of probs reported with usb conversion. If you still can't do it you're doing something wrong so read it again. http://eko.4shared.com/ jbvid
