Hey guys seeing as all the boxes are going down here and a few people have been saying we should sell or swap our boxes to the UK from Ireland, Seeing as they have no issues yet.. So Why Not?

Well i put together a forum for people from Ireland & U.K to trade thier boxes in a forum website, If it works and theres a bit of intrest maybe it could it be turned into a better website... But we'll see..If not, well Nevermind, at least i can say i tried instead of maoning about the situation.

It's simple really sell or swap your boxes, All done through the forum by yourself. No rule breaking there...

Anyhoo if it's ok to post the address here it is

    Code:
    http://www.satboxtraders.com/
MODS any objections just let me know and i can remove.

If not i reckon by word of mouth, This could end up to be a popular site.

    Regards.

seems like a good idea, but the only problem i see is why would people in the uk want to bother swapping their kryptviews ?

Maybe they might feel sorry for us, but also you can get rid of uunwanted boxes too, so it's not limited to just swapping.

thats true enough but who in there right mind is going to buy a second hand box from here

the cost to send registered to the uk from ireland is about 30 euro and what you get will only pay the carriage across

and then if you dont send registered the other person can always say they never received it and claim there money back i can see major problems with this myself but best of luck with it

All you need is to post by normal mail, and get a tracking number, none of the companies i have bought boxes from in the UK have evr used registered post.

But it's there anyhoo if anyone wishes to use it, i'll be keeping a close eye on for the year to see if it picks up..

If ONE person uses it, it's good enough for me.

all boxes sent from the uk are send by courier where you can track

if you send a parcel ordinary post you cannot track it and even when you pay registered you cannot track out side ireland thats all im saying

good luck with the venture but im just preparing people for what will happen boxes will go missing not delivered lost in the post etc

and the cheapest to send to the Uk will be 12 euro

and boxes that go to the uk from here its a long way to go to try and get it back its not like driving to cork or limerick

it would be one way of getting rid of irish boxes to uk but buying off a reliable seller for a new box i would prefare.

if we had firmware updates for our irish boxes then we wouldn't need to sell them.... ie the "new" starview usb...
