Box super quick qestion

Hi there,

I set up a box super for a friend i live in t***w*** area it found all channels turned key emu on and all worked fine. I then gave it to him who took it home and tried it. He said it didn't work but then told me he was in a N*l area so I told him to factory reset and auto scan again he did this and it found all chanells he turny emu on but it says scramblled or bad channel on the pay ones. Any ideas or trouble shoot i can offer him because im all out it has latest software on as I set it up my self and like I said it worked here in my house?

 

re flash it and try again at his house first.
had a similar problem and only a reflash solved it

 

Press menu, type 1570 on remote, press default key. Exit to Sly Sports and see if it updates.

I am not very technical so sorry in advance.

I got The Box super today, it tuned all channels fine but only reciving the Irish ones. While messing about with it I think I did a factory reset. Does this mean I have to reflash the box?

If so what does that mean and how do I go about it?

Scouser I see you advise - Press menu, type 1570 on remote, press default key, which key is the default key?

You need to turn your key emu on, but you will only see this if your box is flashed. Press menu, type 1570 on remote if you can access the key emu its flashed. If not you need to flash it.

Have a look here http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/663923 it says use 7.05 firmware but as you have a new box use 7.09.
