    hey guys..please can anyone tell me how i get my box super to work..av tried the usual methods like emu and default etc but nothing..thing is am lost with all this fixes links etc can anyone tell me in simple terms wot i have to do.thanks..well fed up here missin my footie. am no techno expert so be patient guys thanks to u all..

    I'm in Ireland and I got it in maplins, so somewhere like that.

    nice 1...im in liverpool but i will go to maplins tomorow ..do i just ask for the cable as u wrote it etc..

    hi anto 1969..looked at the link u said that gives info for eurovox v or something..as for the cable on back of my box it has the number rs232 serial port but it looks like a male connection as it sticks out and its a 9 pin but on my pc it looks like a female connection was urs like this

    yea girv I know it was the eurovox thread but just gave you the link for the cables, the one i use and that is suited to my computer is a 9 pin female to female null modem rs232 cable, (this cable has 9 holes either end instead of pins which would make it a male, don't know wheteher this helps. the box takes the female and if your computer is the same then you need the female to female.;) the connector on the box is a male so it take s the female connection, If you have a computer or laptop without a 9 pin serial socket you will still need the Female to Female Serial Null Modem Cable as above and a USB to Serial DB9 Adaptor to make it fit into your USB port.

    hi anto...ye, both have 9 pins but on box the port sticks out and on pc it doesnt but yes they both have the pins so i need female to female then..sorry about this mate just drivin me mad .kids r screamin for tv ..hahahahaha anto u know when ur downloadin ur ffix etc can u have box unplugged or does it need to be cabled up to mains or cable wire do u know

    needs to be plugged in to power/electricity and in standby and connected to computer.

    goodnight girv, as I said I think you need the female to female null modem rs232 cable with the USB to Serial DB9 Adaptor to make it fit into your USB port. As the box will take the female end but with what you have posted your PC won't.
