box two wont update

hi box two wont update tryed everything set Default key on and off any help would be great im in waterford ireland thanks

 

have you put the new firmware on ?

 

why is it updating?codes havn't changed over here in 8 months check all your connections are ok,and no need for new firmware if you have v4.50 on the box.

 

it is at 4.50 firmware but in the past 2 weeks the guy i get the boxs from told me he has had the same problem with 2 boxs and the only way the will update is when you put them on a certain channel and switch the box off and it will update a channel with a high frequency

 

Menu > 1570
Turn emu OFF
Exit to channels, wait till you see "scrambled or bad channel"
Then go back into CAS menu
Go to Set Default key > press ok
Turn emu ON
Exit to bbc1 & let it update.

 

i had same problem im also in waterford didnt know bout 4.50 so i jus stuck on the new 8 uk fix and it updated first time

 

will give that a try thanks
