boxes gone off (all)

V*rg*n turned all boxes off today 09.30hrs due to servicing server then change over from anolog etc means that this will take a few hours to so all areas should be up and running within 5 hours as normal, do not try and retuning them in as they will detect your box and this might cause problems, sit back wait a few hours and let it kick in this applies to starv*ew, ma*x, etc this has been happening with the internet over the last couple of weeks around 02.30hrs for short periods too. sit back and relax

 

all service back to normal as of 19.00hrs today will be off again in 10 days time

My replay lite box has been down since yesterday on the V*rg*n network in north west england. I'd appreciate any suggestions as to the cure Jokerjay? Thanks

 

Hi Jokerjay..Panic over and i'm back up and running with all my channels. I wasn't aware of yesterdays switch off and did a scan and lost all my channels!! I have just flashed my box with my saved channels from the factory data txt. When i turned my box back on everything was back to normal after i'd entered the pin in the menu parental lock settings. Do you know how often these server shutdowns will be? Thanks

 

Depends on what theyre doing. If you find the channels go down again just do another scan this will sort it out.

 

from now till jan 09 will be at least 4/5 times due to the swap over there are 200,000 people still on the anologe sector also they changing the old pace boxes too so just grind your teeth and put up with it, by jan all should be sorted by then and up and running better with more services that we should be able to pick up too, they doing areas at a time new cables new problems lol. when the signal goes off best unplug mains and leave off for few hours, dont try retune this may cause problems to some boxes (ma*x) with channel freezing and starv*ew3, also there was a rumor that starv*ew1 might not be compatible by march 09?????? but find out more on that closer the time if i find out antmore will post it, if anyone does have problems always factory reset the box, then unplug from mains wait few min, then plug back in and rescan etc to set up boxes this should sort it you should not have to flash it again cheers all jay

will this affect services in N.I. some services have dropped off this evening s*t*n*a 1 and 2?

 

have u tried deleting and rescanning.

 

i have tried a brute rescan and trying the others now - 550c is the unit by the way
