There's been alot of talk recently about how ps3 is going to outsell 360 because of brand loyalty. If this is true wouldn't xbox only have sold to previous owners of dreamcast? everybody with an n64 would have bought a gc, everybody with a ps would have bought a ps2! only people whose loylaty belonged to the defunct line of sega consoles would have been able to buy an xbox. i just want to know how many people out there switched brands in the last gen and who plans to switch manufacturers in the next gen? What consloes does everybody own and what caused you to switch brand if you every have? -NES, Gameboy, SNES, N64, GC, XBOX, X360 (soon)
I used to have a N64, but when the three current systems came out I chose the Xbox for its power over all the other systems.
I have owned pretty much every system since Atari and I currently own a G.C., Xbox, and ps2. I don't really prefer one over the other two but if I were forced to choose I would pick the xbox. I also plan on buying all three next gen systems.
I went from NES -> SEGA GENESIS -> PS1 -> PS2 & XBOX -> got smart and dumped my PS2. I plan on going with the 360 in the next generation...my pre-order is already paid for but I may also get the PS3...that's the one I'll wait for the reviews on, bug, kinks, etc...then make the purchase. I'd like to add, the PSP is the best walkman I've ever owned.
i went nes->super nes->n64->gc but i pre-ordered a 360.....i have also, the gameboy pocket, gameboy color, and gameboy advanced sp, but i didnt get the ds cus i got sick of portable consoles
