bricked my iphone 2g

    I am in need of desperate help.
    My iphone 2g was running firmware 1.1.4 - was unlocked/jailbreaked using liberty
    I upgraded to firmware 3.1.3 and was planning to use redsn0w 0.9.4 to unlock/jailbreak it.
    When I launch redsn0w I cant do nothing as I havent got the 3.1.2 firmware (didnt read that u needed it) to trick the iphone (hope that makes sense)
    And all I get on my iphone now is the emergency number page.
    I also have lost the original "monthly" sim card when I bought the iphone 2 odd years ago

    any help greatly appreciated

    You haven't bricked your iphone. It sounds like you need to connect your iphone to itunes to activate it

    It sounds like it is in recovery mode, try plugging it in itunes and click restore, if you bricked you iphone it would come up with a message notifying you of that
