    This should clear your bandwith cap...

    click start, run and type 'cmd'
    Type the following and push enter when instructed (do not include the stars):

    * ipconfig /flushdns (Press Enter)
    * ipconfig /release (Press Enter)
    * ipconfig /renew (Press Enter)
    * exit (Press Enter)

    it does seem like it, but once you get downloading, that will go in no time. some others here (like myself) can easily do 8gb in one day..

    Stevatz,
    Sorry i wasnt more clear, use my method to clear your cap BEFORE you use all your bandwith up, so use it when you are at like 9.9 GB used.

    Also,
    If you dont mind me asking, but where do you live? Those prices are ridiculous, here in NYC i have Optimum Online, NO bandwith caps, 9mb (with router) download speed (about 1.1 MB/s) and 900kbit upload speed, and all that for the price of $45 a month....

    awesome thanks guys....well i'm started a new month and being uncapped is bliss compared to dial up speeds...thanks for the tip i'll do it when i'm close to maxing out my usage...we don't realy have a quality broadband service @ the moment...ADSL2 is being introduced shortly and that can reach crazy speeds but this plan of $59.90 /m is pretty good but the d/l limit of 10 gig is atrocious!!!

    Lol the ADSL2 reached something like 6gb/s download rate, so how are you going to be able to optimise the use of the new technology? If you are a downlaoder, Britain is one of the best places to be. The bpi are MUCH less hasty when it comes to suing filesharers (under 100 sued) and we can get 10mb unlimited in most ares. I have a 1mb connection, which i was a little disappointed with @ first (it's the max in our area). But on seeing your 400mb download limits' i feel for you guys!

    Well my ISP just upped me from 4 mb to 6 mb and kept the price at $42.50. When I first got cable, it was at 3 mb, but since then its doubled...:) In eastern Asia, dont they get 25 mb speeds at like $10 USD a month?

    I think i read some news article about that in China u can rent ur T1 line for like 2-3 thousand RMB, which is relatively cheap so i mean u do expect these high speed internet to be cheap in Eastern Asia.
