My room was added onto my house after the original construction of the house so it has no basement so i cannot run cable tv to my room and my dad refuses to run it through the hall so i was wondering if there was anyway to splice off the cable in the basement and transmit it to my actual tv, not my computer.

i think there is wireless transmitter & receiver for tv's but probably a lot cheaper to run the cable thru the attic or on outside of house.
